| Date format | Use the pull-down to change the order of the date
display. |
| Lock Units of Measure by default | Converts the unit of measure for a symbol to the
same unit of measure as a previously entered symbol when
conversion factors are available. |
| Always force 7 day trading pattern | When you have a query that contains a five day
series along with a seven day series, this option allows the
weekend value of the 5 day series to be filled either forward or
backwards. |
| Use Stream Semantics | This is a future enhancement to accommodate display
of millisecond data. |
| Stepped Curves | When stepped curves are turned off, the contract
price will be placed on the first business day of the delivery
month which will represent a forward curve. If the stepped curves
check box is selected, a value is placed on every day of the
delivery month. The following shows a
chart when the stepped curves are turned
off: The
following shows the same chart when stepped curves are turned
on: |
| Default to Skip All NaN | When the Default to Skip All NaN checkbox is
selected, the Skip All NaN option in the Worksheet Options pane is
selected. When this preference is not selected, the Skip All NaN
Worksheet Option is not selected and the Missing Data NaNs
drop-down list is activated to Fill
NaN. |
| Expand Composite Columns | When the Expand Composite Columns option is selected, the
composite columns (columns that contain multiple fields, such as
BidAskBar) will be expanded. | Users who experience latency due to a remote server
location should not have this option selected. There is a
considerable performance difference when using a remote
server. |
|
| Save Graphics as | Saves graphics as BMP, PNG or JPG. |
| Round Mode | The round mode determines how MIMIC will treat
rounding when the user selects a precision for the series that is
less than the number of decimals in the value returned (e.g.,
precision selected is 2 decimals, the number is 3 or more
decimals). In such cases, the user can now specify
the rounding technique used by choosing between 3 alternatives:
Half Even (the
default) - Rounds any trailing 5 up or down to the nearest
even number (e.g. if the decimal precision is two decimals
and the number to be rounded is 2.345, the calculation
rounds down to the nearest even value at 2.34, whereas if
the number to be rounded is 2.355, the calculation rounds up
to the nearest even value at 2.36.) Half Up - Always
rounds the trailing 5 up. Half Down - Always
rounds the trailing 5 down.

| Preferred Columns | The symbol's column set is searched for each of the
preferred columns in the order specified. The first preferred
column found in the relations column set is used as the default
column. If none of the columns are found, then the default column
will be the first column in the symbol's column set. |
